Education

Mrs. Mitchell is a graduate of Ardmore High School. She attended Calhoun Community College and Athens State University and attained a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. She has also attended Alabama A&M University and graduated with a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education.



Experience

Mrs. Mitchell has taught at Ardmore and Cedar Hill Elementary for sixteen years. She has taught one year in third grade, two years in first grade and thirteen years in Kindergarten. Mrs. Mitchell was hired four years ago as an Instructional Technology Facilitator with Limestone County's Digital Passport Initiative. 



Bio

 

Michelle is married to Eric Mitchell. Both Eric and Michelle are natives of Ardmore. They have been married for twenty years, and have one son, Evan.   Evan is a Freshman at Ardmore High School.

Michelle and her family live in Ardmore and are members of Community Baptist Church. She is involved in teaching children at church at well as at school.

Mrs. Mitchell enjoys swimming, camping, playing in her flowers, going to the beach and lake,  and spending time with her family.
