Principal's Corner
As principal, I welcome you to Elkmont High School and our
school website. Elkmont is a 6-12 grade school. We have 650
students and 53 employees working to provide a safe and challenging
environment each day. Our school motto is Elkmont students will
have Pride, Purpose and Persistence in all that they do. This is
also represented in Elkmont High Schools mission and vision.
Elkmont High School is a member of the A plus College Ready
Grant. A+ College Ready partners with high schools and their feeder
middle schools to create cultures of high academic expectations for
all students, teachers and administrators. Our teachers have
undergone extensive training to teach LTF (laying the foundation)
classes in grades 6-10. LTF courses provides the pipeline for
students to be prepared to take AP courses in grades 11th and 12th
grades. We have expanded our current AP courses and now offer 8 AP
courses. Our goal is to increase the rigor of our coursework so
that students are prepared for college courses.
If we can ever be of assistance to you please do not hesitate to
call or send me an email. We are here to support each and every
student. We are honored that you have entrusted your most precious
possession to us. We will work tirelessly to provide the best
education possible to your children.
Thank you for visiting our website.
Sincerely,
Bill Tribble
